We have recently increased our stock of QSC K-series powered loudspeakers. Our first pair of K8 were purchased in early 2016 and having been thoroughly impressed by the performance from such a compact and lightweight box, we decided to increase our stocks ready for the 2018 summer season. In addition to the K8’s we now stock the K12 and KLA12 full range systems and the KSUB, KW181 and KLA181 sub-bass units
QSC K8 and K12 each deliver 1kW continuous output power. The K8 features a direct radiating 8″ low frequency driver and the K12 boasts a 12″ LF driver. Both units benefit from a 1.75″ diaphragm compression driver for HF. The onboard two channel mixer includes mic pre-amp, XLR, 1/4″ jack and RCA inputs.
The K8 is perfectly suited to near field applications with 105° conical DMT coverage, whilst the K12 has slightly narrower dispersion with 75° conical DMT coverage.
A wide range of deployment options including an eyebolt for yoke mounting accessories, M10 rigging bolts, 35mm pole socket with Tilt-Direct and an optional outdoor adverse weather cover.
QSC KLA12 is a compact line source element and features the same 1kW power module as the K8 and K12. KLA12 features a direct radiating 12″ LF driver and 1.75″ diaphragm compression driver.
With 90° horizontal coverage, 18° vertical coverage and frequency response 49Hz – 18kHz @ ±6dB; the KLA12 can be deployed as a line array to cover large audience areas.
QSC KSUB is a dual 12″band-pass sub-bass system. KSUB can provide additional headroom and sub-extension down to 48Hz for any of the K-Series full range systems.
The KSUB band-pass system offers the most bang for your bucks. This attractive and compact sub features an extremely small footprint.
The KW181 and KLA181 both feature 18″ direct radiating LF drive units and 1kW power modules. Where the differ, is the KLA is designed to be flown with the KLA12 line source system and the KW is purely for ground stacking. The KLA12 also reaches slightly lower with a frequency response down to 38Hz, whereas the KW181 extends to 40Hz.
